 I can’t believe that we are almost through the 3rd marking period. Where has the time gone? We are still working extremely hard on mastering our math facts. Knowing our math facts is making long division easier especially with 2 digit divisors. Soon we’ll move on to Measurement and Geometry. In Religion, we have been focusing on our calling. We realize that we are all called to love. We are learning to live a life of love by following the Ten Commandments and incorporating the Beatitudes into our life. The focus in Grammar has been adjectives. We have learned that adjectives are words that describe nouns or pronouns. We will be using a program in Kidspiration to test our adjective use. We have had a great time with our diorama book reports. Some of us enjoyed the interesting twist of rewriting the ending of our book. In Social Studies, we are researching
individual states. Some are almost finished. Due date is March 31st.
