We have been working very hard in math on number theory and fraction concepts and are excited about moving on to adding and subtracting fractions. 

We have taken a voyage to the Americas with Columbus and have been learning about the changes the Spanish brought to New Spain.  We will soon be discussing the hard times in Virginia. 

We just finished our Astronomy chapter and are working on a class power point presentation of our solar system.  We are now exploring the classification of living things and the kingdoms of life.   It will be fun to look at a variety of cells with our digital microscopes. 

In religion we have been focused on the Paschal Mystery and the resurrection of Jesus.  Next we will discuss how the members of the church are all united in living out the mission of Christ.
