In Grade 8 Geography students were asked to Create a Trading Company..

Students took on the role of a trading company and trade with the nations of region we are studying.  In this case, it was SW Asia. 

They did a power point on a name of company, slogan, and products that they would sell, they predicted 3 problems and solutions they would have.
