I am happy and excited to be teaching music at Saint Joseph School this year. Through my work at church I’ve had the opportunity to work with many Saint Joseph School students and am impressed by their character, values and abilities. 

In general, the music program for the first two terms will focus on reviewing basic music skills and techniques and learning new ones. These will be applied to the development of programs for Grandparents/Special Friends/Relatives Day and for our Christmas program.  One of my primary goals is to help students understand the relationship between music and the world beyond the school setting: how music is used in daily life - entertainment or relaxation and how music preferences reflect one’s own personal experiences and respect for differing values and tastes in music.  I’m looking forward to a great musical year and am proud to be a member of the Saint Joseph School faculty.
