Casimir Pulaski Monument

The dedication reads:
Polish-American patriot aided the colonists in the fight for liberty.  Dying gloriously in action, Count Casimir Pulaski, "Father of the American Cavalry", born in Poland 1747, came to America in 1777.  Entering as a volunteer; Distinguished himself at the Battle of Brandywine.  Promoted to the rank of Brigadier general was mortally wounded in the siege of Savannah, Georgia.  He died in 1779.

The Pulaski Elementary School is named after this patriot.  The school is located on 100 Clearview Avenue in Meriden.

The Pulaski Skyway, in New York, is named for Casimir Pulaski.

There is a Casimir Pulaski Industrial Park in Wallingford, Connecticut.
